It's important to understand and apply the universal laws of attraction to your life to be truly successful. They're also called the 11 forgotten laws.
These laws have existed since the beginning of time. Although The Secret introduces only one of them, there's more to it than the Law of Attraction.
The rest of these universal laws of attraction work exactly the same way for everyone, whether you realize it or not. It doesn't matter who you are, where you live, or what your line of work is.
"What this power is, I cannot say. All I know is that it exists."
- Alexander Graham Bell
Regardless of whether or not you consciously use these 11 forgotten laws, they impact your life, in good and bad.
You know, the universe sends things your way depending on the signals you're putting out.
Wouldn't you rather work in harmony with these laws?
You're part of the universal mind, which has many names. You can call it God, The All, Allah, Buddha, Your Higher Self, Universal Consciousness, or whatever name you prefer. The name doesn't really matter.
Nevertheless, we're all One, we're all connected to each other and to everything in the universe.
This means that you're already connected to what you desire. You just need to get yourself in the same frequency with the nature of that which you want to manifest.
You see, your life is something you must create. You have to think about it, plan it and visualize it in your mind. Whatever you desire, you can't buy it or borrow it from someone else. No one can give it to you, but you must create it within you.
“As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”
- The Bible, Book of Proverbs, 23:7
Your desires and ideas are like seeds you plant in the soil, but you plant these ideas in the soil of your mind.
After planting the thought seeds, you cultivate and nurture them well until it's harvest time. Only then can you reap all that you have sown. Of course, if you have a clean and fertile garden, you get to enjoy the best returns.
"If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much."
- Jim Rohn
You have the ability to think and create desires and ideas. You have the equipment, that is your mind. You have the power, for the universal power of mind lies within each of us.
All that you desire to have is yours if you ask and apply these laws of life correctly. You can overcome and master any circumstances by exercising your marvelous mind with the help of the universal laws of attraction, and thus grow in wisdom and power.
"What we are today, comes from our thoughts of yesterday. And our present thoughts build our life of tomorrow. Our life is the creation of our mind."
The Law of Thinking refers to your power of thoughts. Everything starts as a thought in your mind. Countless amazing things that we enjoy today from a comfortable chair to an airplane or an iPad were first created in someone's mind before they became reality. This law teaches you that you must form a clear picture in your mind of the things that you want to attract into your life.
The Law of Abundance or the Law of Supply teaches you that there is an unlimited supply of everything. The storehouse of the universe will never be empty. Regardless of what you hear around you, there is plenty of everything. You need to be aware of this abundance so that you can be successful.
The Law of Attraction itself is probably best-known of all the universal laws of attraction, thanks to the hit movie The Secret. Whatever you focus on is what you attract into your life, whatever you put out into the universe, comes back to you, "like attracts like".
The Law of Receiving refers to getting you ready to receive all of the things that you desire. Regardless of how hard you try to succeed, if you're not ready to receive it, you won't get what you desire. This is not about getting something, it's about giving from the bottom of your heart so that you can receive graciously.
The Law of Increase deals with the concept that you have to grow and develop. You can always get better in every area of your life. For example, even if you think your health is already great, it can continue to get better, to increase.
The Law of Compensation refers to the concept that you get out exactly what you put in, "as you sow, so shall you reap", meaning that you can expect to succeed only if you take action and put effort in what you do.
The Law of Non-Resistance is very powerful. I'm sure you must've heard it said that "Whatever you resist, persists".
This means that the things you hate grow stronger in your life. It teaches you to simply ignore the things that you don't like. For example, if you keep saying that you hate your job, the universe keeps finding reasons for you to hate your job even more, and so you're stuck with it.
The Law of Forgiveness teaches you how to completely release painful things from your past. If you're constantly blaming your past about everything that's wrong in your life now, you have a lot of trouble moving ahead.
The Law of Sacrifice teaches you that to get something, you must make a choice. It doesn't mean that you're necessarily losing something to get something else, but you are giving something of yourself to improve your life. You can give your time to some cause to receive something that's important to you. For example, you are studying to get a degree or to learn valuable information.
The Law of Obedience teaches you that the universal laws of attraction work for you if you obey them. If you live an undisciplined life, you probably won't succeed.
The Law of Success says that whatever you do, it's going to work, so it's a success. You get a result, even if you don't like that result. Working with this universal law means acting in a certain way so that success is bound to happen. So, if you aim at nothing you will hit it - successfully. You must've heard it said that "Be careful what you pray for, because you're going to get it."
Whether your desires have to do with money, better health, career, relationships or anything, applying these laws can help you succeed.
If you don't follow all of these universal laws of attraction, you may fail to live your dreams to the fullest.
