The Blues Tell It All
I have always been in music. My daddy told me countless times as I was growing up that I was going to be the next Patsy Kline. Too bad I didn't much like singing country/western music at that time.
I wandered through music at school, doing UILs in choir, singing at churches, and just singing on my own, but I never really craved the stage. I suppose my biggest dream back then was to be a doo-wop girl, a backup singer. I never got far with that, either, but music stayed with me.
And then one day I noticed that I had a talent for spotting bands that were going to make it. I especially loved the blues bands that were coming up. I still do.
Because of my interest in these musicians (purely on an aesthetic level, mind you) I met other musicians, and would do my part to help promote them, as well. Now I can walk into any concert anywhere, and chances are very good I will know someone on that stage. I love watching these musicians grow and hone their craft.
It makes me very proud of them, and good about myself because I did a little bit to push them farther. I have friends on stages all over the world, and sometimes I hear a shout out from some of them, even on their recordings and videos. I love you guys, keep rockin'!
And that my friends is what the Laws of Attraction can do for you, too!
