Overcoming adversity and depressing circumstances through unshakeable belief and positive thinking
A few years ago I was in a situation that would create depression and negative throughts easily in everyone. I had no money, my mother was sick and she needed my help. My dreams of becoming a swimmer were virtually ruined. However, I kept remembering my grandmother who died in 2004. Whenever something bad happened to her, she just kept waking up early in the morning before everyone else and kept working persistently. She was my inspiration.
So, I decided that I would just become a soldier that does not allow negative thoughts stand in the way of accomplishing his mission. I kept only positive thoughts in my mind, and I was happy about every little and insignificant achievement that I had. However, those achievements kept adding up and soon the results were obvious.
I started to write articles about fitness and nutrition for a blog, and I was getting paid for them by the blog owner. Soon, I started to write for multiple blog owners who liked my insights on fitness and nutrition. I was no expert, but the desire to become a swimmer has led me to study fitness and apply it to my life. Soon, I had enough money to pay the membership to start training in the pool, and I also helped my mother. Now I am in the position to accumulate money for college, and I will patiently apply positive and inspired action hoping to attract even better things in my life.
