I wanted a better life
For years and years, I have been the overweight person in my family, a family full of healthy, thin, and beautiful people. I stuck out like a sore thumb and I hated it to be honest. I was attracted to living a happy, fabulous, and aesthetic life. I envied those people. I also knew I needed to change and lose weight for the health benefits and trust me, I tried for years and years. From fad diets like high protein low carb, to fasting one day a week. I've tried almost every diet out there. My success rate was pretty laughable.
It wasn't until I had finally focused on losing weight that I had success. I researched and researched for countless of hours ways that people have lost the weight. I studied their eating habits, work out routines, and social lives to see how I can adjust mine. From there I proceeded. I was set out on losing the weight, I attracted a lot of friends at the gym when I used to go five days a week. People who were similar minded and shared the same goals as mine. They gave me the edge on my research and routine so I can lose weight faster and smarter.
After 8 months of hard workouts, eating a certain amount of calories each and every day, I managed to lose 80 lbs of pure fat. I haven't been in this shape since I was 12 years old and I feel amazing! My journey is far from finished however, I need to keep going. I need to keep this attraction of being healthy always active so I can live my life to the fullest.
