Don't Ever Let Up
Before I understood the Law of Attraction, I was stuck at a not-very good school, bored with my classes, bored with the university and generally dissatisfied with where I was in life. I decided one day, to take a chance and apply to an Ivy league university, which was always my dream and my parents dream. We didn’t have the money, or the resources, but I knew I had the ability. Everyone told me it was useless, and pointless, and I could never afford it.
I did anyway. I believe the Law Attraction manifests itself in many different ways, and one of those is prayer and visualizing yourself doing whatever you dream of. I prayed on my knees every night, and I always saw myself walking up the steps of that ivory tower at the school of my dreams. I think a mistake many people make is believing if they sit passively and do nothing, except think of what they want, the universe will somehow attract the things they want. But I learned that’s not how it works. You have to show the universe or God how much you want it. You have to change the space around you, and you can’t ever let up. You have to believe in the power of your dreams enough to work towards it. In time, the Universe rewards you, and very well.
I went to my Ivy league school a few months after I applied with a 16,000 dollar grant. I made calls every day, emailed university officials, applied for every grant and scholarship I could think of, and the universe heard me out. It will hear you out too, but you can’t stop believing.
