To Kill a Mockingbird
This is my favorite book of all time. I have read it many times and have also listened to it from a book on tape. It is heartwarming. A true story of courage and love.
Atticus Finch does not care what other people in the South think when he defends a negro male of sexually molesting a young adult. He is ostracized by his fellow man for doing so. However, Atticus has so much courage it does not deter him in anyway. He shows that if you believe in something strong enough do not let other people change your mind just because they are ignorant. Stick to your guns. Be brave.
Atticus also teaches his children a listen of love, courage and honesty. This is a good book for parents to read with their children. This book is a good teacher.
This book inspired me to be a better person. To treat people the same no matter what the color of their skin. It taught me to stick to my beliefs no matter what other people think.
