A dear old friend of mine, Wendy Robbins, first exposed me to this movie. A successful lady in her own right, she piqued my curiosity about the film, suggesting that my personality and character would be a good match for the general idea of the film. So, based on her recommendation, plus knowing that Jack Canfield and John Assaraf were also involved with the film, I took the plunge.
What I discovered, was really not a secret at all. Rather it is a way of life. A mental map to everyday happiness, and yes, eventually success. Being the practical old fashioned Yankee that I pride myself on, I realize that success does not happen over night. I also know, at my ripe old age, just exactly what the power of happiness is. And that is a strong power indeed.
The Secret, even the concept of "the laws of attraction", promotes that happiness is key. To be happy, one must think happy. One must have positive thoughts. Expel the bad, negative, feelings and thoughts from yourself, and focus on result oriented happiness.
It's kind of like the old saying...walk down the street and smile at someone. See how many are returned to you.
